2) What I collect

I collect information in three ways:

a) You give it to me

Contact details: name, email, phone.
Wedding details: date, venue, guest count, budget range, notes.
Booking and payment details when you purchase a session or package.
Messages you send via my website form, email, text, Instagram, or Meta lead forms.

b) Collected automatically

Device and usage data: pages viewed, time on site, referral source, approximate location.
Cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising.

c) From partners you choose to use

Scheduling (Dubsado), payment processing (Stripe), advertising platforms (Meta/Instagram), analytics (Google). These providers act as my processors for the limited purpose of delivering their services.

3) How I use your information

Respond to inquiries and check availability.
Send proposals, contracts, invoices, and deliver galleries.
Schedule calls and sessions.
Improve the site and measure which content is useful.
Run simple, interest-based ads to reach engaged couples.
Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Legal bases if you are in the EU/UK: consent, performance of a contract, and legitimate interests (such as site security, analytics, and basic marketing).

4) Cookies and ads

I use cookies and pixels to understand site usage and to run basic remarketing ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings. If you prefer not to be tracked for advertising, you can opt out of interest-based ads through your device settings or industry tools like the NAI and DAA. If you are in a region that requires consent, the banner on my site lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies.

5) Who I share information with

I do not sell your personal information. I share limited data with service providers who help me run the business, under contracts that restrict their use:

Website, hosting, and email
Scheduling: Dubsado (contact details and meeting info)
Payments: Stripe (billing details and payment confirmations)
Client communication and file delivery: email and gallery/delivery platforms
Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics, Meta/Instagram (pseudonymous usage data and pixel events)

If required by law, safety, or to protect my rights, I may disclose information to authorities.

6) Data retention

Inquiry records and emails: typically 24 months from last contact.
Client records, contracts, invoices, and galleries: typically 7 years for tax and business records, and longer for archived client galleries as requested or agreed.
Analytics and ad data follow the retention settings in each platform.

7) Your choices

Access, update, or delete: Email contact@kylesford.com with your request.
Marketing: Reply “stop” or unsubscribe from any marketing email.
Cookies/ads: Use the cookie banner (where shown) or your browser/device settings to limit cookies and ad tracking.

If you live in a U.S. state or country with specific privacy rights, you may have additional rights to access, delete, correct, or limit the use of your data. See Section 9 below.

8) Security

I use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is 100 percent secure. Please use strong passwords and do not send sensitive payment information by email.

9) Region-specific information

If a state privacy law applies to my business, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising or certain disclosures.
